There are two main forms of CNC laser processing machine for oil screen: gantry and cantilever.
The gantry type machine tool is characterized in that the overall rigidity of the machine tool is good, and the stability of the laser output is ensured. The sleeve is rotated relative to the laser cutting head and moved along the axial direction to process the gap. The shortcoming of the gantry type machine tool is that the long and heavy length of the casing is about 11m and the weight is about 500kg, which causes the workpiece to have a slow displacement speed and low processing efficiency.
The cantilever type machine tool is characterized in that the long and heavy casing in the machining process does not move the laser cutting head to move at high speed along the workpiece axis direction, which is also called the flying light path, which improves the cutting efficiency. The cantilever beam of the machine tool is welded into a light frame structure by aluminum alloy plate to avoid the disadvantage of excessive movement of the moving inertia caused by the high-speed movement of the cantilever beam.
The oil screen is non-contact processing, so there is no tool wear and noise, and it is easy to realize the efficiency of automatic cutting. High processing usually takes only ten seconds and is several times of machining efficiency. The processing cost is low. There are no residual arcs at both ends of the slit. The processing range is wide. Not only can linear rectangular joints be machined, but also the trapezoidal slits, curved seams and other gaps with different specifications can be 0.20±0.05mm.
