Johnson Pre Packed Well Screen

The johnson pre packed well screen have a double layer of high performance screen, having a very accurate V-shaped wire welded to support rods and a slot opening for the outer screen, which is selected to retain the formation sand, and an inner screen to retain the media pack.
The johnson pre packed well screens simplify the contractor's work, improve the odds for successful development and offer long-term benefits for the owner.

For the contractor, the pre-packed screen eliminates the need for a larger borehole. It shortens the amount of time required to drill a well, and speeds development time.
It uses ceramic beads as the filter media. This unique concept provides a filter pack that is less likely to get fouled with bio-film and encrustation. It also uses calibrated sand, either with or without epoxy resin, which is contained within the annuls of two concentric screens.
Close control of slot tolerances, designed to prevent sand migration.
